1. How can I create an account for the Carnival Boutique?
On the upper left, click on "My account", then follow the instructions for new customers. You will then be ready to shop on line. This step is mandatory for making purchases at the Carnival Boutique.
2. How can I place an order on the Carnival Boutique?
Once you've created your profile, you can start to shop in the Carnival Boutique. If you have already created your account and you return to the site, just connect to your profile by clicking on "My account" on the upper left.
To place an order, just choose the items that interest you and click on "Add to Cart". The description of the product will then appear. To confirm the addition to your shopping Cart, click again on "Add to Cart".
When you are finished shopping, click on "See your Cart" on the bottom left, above the shopping steps. After completing this operation, you will see the products you have selected. To remove a product from your order, check off the "Remove" box to the left of the product you want to remove. Then click on the "Refresh" button.
To confirm your purchases, click on "Order" to place your order. At this stage, you can modify your delivery address if desired. Then select your method of payment and click on "Next" to continue.
You must confirm the order by clicking on the "Confirm order" button.
After choosing your payment method (Visa or MasterCard), the Desjardins secure payment system will open a page where you can enter your personal information.
3. How can I access my profile if I have lost my password?
On the left, click on "My account". In this window, you will find the message "Forgot your password? Click here." The system will tell you how to recover your password.
4. How can I cancel an order?
After the order is confirmed and sent, you must quickly either send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call us at 418-626-3716. We will cancel your order and give you a refund.
5. How will my package be sent to me?
All of the orders are sent via Canada Post, which makes deliveries in Canada and takes them as far as customs. For packages sent to the United States or an international destination, UPS picks the package up from customs. Shipping details vary according to the destination of the package. 6. How much does postal delivery cost depending on the destination?
Postal fees are included in the total purchase price. Delivery prices depend on your province or country.
Québec City: $7.00
Canadian provinces: $10.00
United States: $20.00
International (airmail): $28.00
7. How can I get more information on a Carnival product?
To obtain a brief description of the product, simply click on the image for which you would like more information. You will be redirected to a description of the product.
8. How can I purchase one Carnival Effigie?
The Carnival Boutique sells the Effigies in quantities of 25 or more only. The Effigie will be available in early December 2011 in over 450 sales outlets in the region of Québec City, at the Carnival office at 205, boul. des Cèdres, Québec City, and on the Carnival sites during the event.
