CARNIVAL ACTIVITIES FOR EVERY TASTE!

For over 50 years, the Québec Winter Carnival has constantly renewed itself, offering a high-quality program that allows thousands of visitors to enjoy winter fun in the heart of Québec’s capital. This major event is well known on the national and international scene and contributes to enhancing our destination’s tourism offering. A tourist attraction not to be missed, it generates major economic spinoffs in our region.

Winter in Québec offers a unique and distinctive opportunity for developing tourism.. The Québec Winter Carnival has capitalized on this advantage by inviting the entire population to fully embrace this season and enjoy fresh air from January 27 to February 17, 2012. The Carnaval de Québec in collaboration with Loto-Québec â€• a  tradition, a celebration, a perfect time to enjoy the capital of Québec,  family and friends in tow.

For its 58th edition, “ the Carnaval shows off its colours, and what a display! â€œ From snow and ice in shades of white and blue, to the rosy cheeks of the tots and the rainbow stripes of Bonhomme’s ceinture flêchée, the competitions, parades and spectrum of events come in a variety of hues that delight, entertain, and enliven throngs of people year after year.

Bravo to everyone who helped make Carnaval de Québec 2012 happen in yet another tribute to the Québec winter and the joys it brings to the young and young at heart.
